The Primary Arms first focal plane 1-6x scope takes the proven performance of the Gen III SFP optic and upgraded the internals to provide first focal functionality. This tough scope features full red reticle illumination, a quick focus eyepiece, and finger adjustable turrets covered by turret caps. The first focal plane construction allows the reticle to be small, fast, and simple at low magnification, with ranging and ballistic drops true at every magnification. This scope is protected by a lifetime warranty. The ACSS Raptor 5.56 first focal plane reticle has been calibrated to be true at every magnification. The reticle's features include automatic ranging out to 600 yards, moving target leads, and a large, fast horse shoe that easily draws your eye to the target. This caliber specific reticle is tuned for 5.56 NATO, 5.45x39mm, and .308 Win. Full red reticle illumination is provided by a single (included) CR2032 battery, and a spare battery is included inside the windage turret cap. A total of 11 settings take the reticle all the way up to daylight bright. All lenses are fully multicoated for maximum light transmission and the 6063 aluminum body is Type II hard anodized in matte black.

The Butler Creek Eye: 17 flip-cap is too small. The Butler Creek Objective: 02A flip-cap fits just fine. The scope is great! Really enjoying it.

First things first, this is a relatively lightweight First Focal Plane optic that retails for around $400. That such an optic exists (let alone with my favorite reticle so far) is great in and of itself.
But there are some inklings of the cheaper price. First off, 1x isn't a true 1x, which is pretty normal in a variable zoom optic. It's around 1.3 or 1.4x though on this optic if I had to guess. Second, there's a good bit of blur or distortion around the edges of the sight picture on 1x. Finally, the eye relief and eye box are pretty unforgiving at 6x, even for a 1-6x.
On the good side, adjustments are good and solid. There's very little discoloration or tint through the optic. The lighting is also plenty bright, in my opinion.
For the price I'm pretty happy with it. It's lighter than expected and plenty workable.
The gamble paid off!

I wasn't sure if trying FFP was going to work out, but I took a gamble on this despite a lack of many reviews. I finally got it sighted in and shot my first 3-gun match with it today. It was my best outing with rifle ever! I mostly attribute this to the chevron reticle, which is a big improvement over my Strike Eagle 1-6x, though not exclusive to the FFP model. I think they implemented better in this model, though. The picture was bright and clear, the lighted reticle was very bright in daylight, the variable size reticle from being FFP was neat, the built-in throw ring was easy to use on the fly. This was a local club match without long distances, but even at 125yds I could get on target much faster and better than before, and actually hit them as an added bonus! I see this is going to work at my other match with longer distances.
Budget doesn’t have to mean low quality!

Great optic for the money,glad I waited/saved for the FFP model and the ACSS is the best retical imho. I was pleasantly surprised by the glass quality. It’s a little unforgiving at 6x but for me it’s not a problem because I usually slow up when @ full magnification anyways. All in all solid product for Primary Arms and love they’re lighting fast shipping.

Done a lot of research before picking this scope. must say the videos done by Dimitri where very helpful. Mounted my scope up in a pepr mount and took it to the range. Fired 5 shots and it was 8" low but right in line with my target dot. Moved the reticle up the right amount of clicks. Shot 5 more and it was right on the target. So far I'm very happy with this scope. Should work for all predators 4 legged and 2 legged. The acss reticle is very easy and quick to judge range. Great scope would highly recommend this scope.
No Better Bang For the Buck!!!

As a 3 Gun competitor I am always looking for new equipment to get the edge. I've been wanting a 1-6x to replace my very venerable 1-4x that I had been running for years. The trick was I wanted one that was first focal. This is the 3rd scope that I have gotten from PA and this is the best one yet. I have it mounted in a Midwest Industries mount and it is rock solid and dead on. Finally got a chance to use in a match and what a difference it makes having the reticle that goes down to nearly red dot size for speed on close stages and the 6x is clear and sharp. Just went out to the range and tested the magnification and zoom staying true and it was ringing steel at 300 yards at 2.5x using correct hold. So impressed will be getting the .300blk for my blackout very soon (also may pick up another 5.56 one too).
Wind holds and BDC accurate and perfect for run&gun

Had never shot with this scope more than 100 yards a few times to zero. Used it for a run & gun this weekend. In moderate wind, hit 4-500 yard targets on first shot. The wind holds and BDC are incredibly accurate and easy to use. Especially for the money, I cannot recommend this enough.

First impressions are really good. In hand it feels more like $500+ optic. Glass is super clear. Time will tell how it holds a zero, but I don't anticipate any problems.
I did ask for a photo of Patrick Swayze, and they didn't include it. Which made me sad, but I'm really happy with the optic.
Best in this price range.

For this price and the features you receive, this product cannot be beat.
After shooting red dots,ACOGs and other optics, I wanted to test the LPVO waters and I am very impressed. The glass is good, adjustments are solid and clicky, not mushy. Magnification is smooth and fast.
The reticle...the ACSS reticle is bananas. I consider myself a master of hold over with a red dot...but never in my life have I sighted a optic in and immediately began making hits on 6” steel at 300+. All credit to the ACSS.
Which brings me to the best benefit and/or perk of buying this product...if you contact PA, they will assist you with setting up your optic using various loads. The creator of the ACSS reticle, Dmitri is clearly approaching level 100 wizardry
The illumination is bright, plenty bright even for use in the day. Unless youre aiming at the sun(enjoy being blind) or other immensely bright background. Which actually what brought me here.
