The Portland MBA draws on the city’s innovative business people and entrepreneurs to deliver a unique experience that will elevate your career. Open to evening and daytime students at the most diverse campus in Oregon, you’ll join a select cohort of individuals who enrich the learning experience with a wide array of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. The Portland MBA is built on industry relationships, providing an immersive graduate business education that could only happen in Portland — and only at Portland State University.

Two Options for a Personalized Experience

We offer two options to ensure that your MBA experience aligns with your career path and goals. Both share a core curriculum focused on broad business essentials, leadership foundations, transferable skills, and deep industry knowledge.

  • The Portland MBA for Career Accelerators (evening classes)
    • For those ready to accelerate their career trajectory, advance leadership effectiveness, and develop executive presence
    • Designed for full-time working professionals with at least four years of work experience
    • Attend on campus or remotely when needed using our global classroom technology
  • The Portland MBA for Career Explorers (daytime classes)
    • For those exploring career paths or considering a pivot into a new industry
    • Designed for early-career professionals ready for career visioning and development, self-clarity, and applied skill development
    • On-campus modality fosters a close cohort community and deep professional relationships

MBA Scholarships | There are approximately 50 scholarships available to MBA students

Use PSU Scholarship Universe to submit a scholarship application. Incoming and continuing PSU students are eligible to apply for scholarships through PSU's Scholarship Universe. Students must file an admissions application with the university. Within 48 hours after a student has submitted an application, they can access the Scholarship Universe platform. 

Deadline for scholarship submission is May 1.
